CHURCH ALTAR AND WALL
Cleaning and re-stencilling.
The ornate marble relief of this altar in a Catholic church had become stained by dust and dirt building up over many years. The stencilled wall pattern had suffered similar wear and tear and needed re-stencilling. The marble was carefully cleaned, using a technique and tools that are strong enough to remove years of grime but gentle enough to preserve the stonework intact. For the walls, a traditional stencil design was created and the walls repainted to restore the original stencilled appearance.
